In a Hesperides garden tailored on our time, where the golden fruits are substituted by broken and evil-smelling objects, an imitator of Hercules roams, a beggar with worn clothes and an anxious face, who rummages in the rubbish bins looking for something but he doesn't even know what, while around him things happen in a dreaming and disturbing atmosphere. Slowly the barrier between dream and reality becomes thinner and thinner until it disappears: the beggar has nothing to do but to take note of his defeat.
