Synopsis
Sub Rosa is based on the excerpt of the String Quartet in C. of a composer Dora Pejačević (1885-1923). The film creates movements within animation sequences of four dancers which re-materialize music. Dora Pejačević was an intellectual, aristocrat and a great composer. The film is dedicated to her music and her work «My Book Record». This is an attempt to reveal what is in music always hidden, sub rosa.
